XRlabs Ali Haddad

Ali Haddad

FOUNDER & CEO
NEUROSURGEON | CLINICAL INNOVATOR | XR PIONEER

Dr. Ali Haddad is a practicing neurosurgeon and visionary healthcare technology leader. He founded XRlabs to solve the critical challenges he encountered firsthand in the operating room—combining deep clinical insight with cutting-edge technology to create AI- and XR-powered surgical tools.

Before XRlabs, Dr. Haddad co-founded GoodSAM, a globally adopted emergency response platform integrated with ambulance dispatch systems across the UK and internationally. His work has produced a patent in AR surgical navigation, led to XR adoption across NHS hospitals, and supported global deployments within XRlabs' first year.

Dr. Haddad also pioneered the world’s first automated extended reality prosthesis design, used in the successful separation of conjoined twins through an international charitable effort.

Dr. Haddad completed his medical training at the University of Warwick after earning his bachelor's degree from Imperial College London. He then completed the majority of his neurosurgical residency at Imperial College NHS Trust.

Dr. Haddad has numerous accolades include:

  • NIHR Lewis Spitz Surgeon Scientist Grant

  • Pridgeon Research Medal (University of Warwick)

  • Royal Commission for the Exhibition of 1851 Special Award

  • Imperial College Gold Medal for Outstanding Student Achievement
